By Decree no. 495/1953 published in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 49/26.11.1953, the Arbitration Commission (current Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania- 'Court of Arbitration') was established within the Chamber of Commerce of Romania. At the same time, through this Decree, the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Romania (established by Decree no. 444/1949) was also reorganised under the name of the Chamber of Commerce of Romania.
