ABSTRACT

The author of this study aims to analyze the course of a contravenţional complaint from the moment of the start of the contravenţional trial, namely the registration of the complaint at court, and until the first court date is set, presenting controversial issues from the judicial practice and offering argued points of view in their settlement.

A first such legal issue concerns the situation where, through a single procedural act, entitled contravenţional complaint, several fact-finding official reports of the contravention are contested, raising the dilemma whether such a procedural act is likely to ignore the rules that require the random distribution of files.
