Brief considerations regarding the hearing of the injured party

Abstract

In the matter of hearing the injured party, the criminal legislator has chosen to regulate a series of specific provisions, aiming to ensure, first and foremost, their protection due to the vulnerable state they are in as a result of having been the victim of a crime. These provisions have been supplemented and amended over time, most recently in 2023. In this paper, we aim to analyze some of these provisions.
