Abstract

The present article covers the relationship between blackmail and/or extortion and other crimes which may resemble with them from certain legal aspects.

Being a free-form offence that can be committed by a wide range of actions, the blackmail and/or extortion may lead to various situations that would benefit from the clear distinction between them and other offences.

Some of the following analyzes are derived from the studies performed in the legal literature, others appeared in the criminal law jurisprudence, while others are an exercise of imagination, critical thinking and legal reasoning.
