ABSTRACT

This paper performes an examination of some relevant issues regarding the conclusion of the international commercial contracts. In the attempt to provide a complete and coherent representation of the legal institutions addressed, the author analyzed the provisions of the Romanian Civil Code in force, alongside other legal sistems, as well as the stipulations of the uniform law. Individual reflections were formulated on controversial jurisprudential issues.
