Abstract

This study aims to analyse, without claiming to be exhaustive, the right to rest leave as a fundamental right of workers.

This study analyses various aspects of rest leave, such as: the rules for granting and taking rest leave, the rules applicable in the case of reinstatement of an employee who has not previously taken rest leave, the rest leave allowance and the possibility, in certain circumstances, for the employee to benefit from it for all periods of rest leave not taken.
