Abstract

In the context of Romania’s integration into the European Union, the recognition and enforcement in Romania of foreign judgments given in the Member States of the European Union and in non-EU states is a goal of the highest importance, imposed at EU level by the imperative of judicial cooperation between states in order to ensure an area of freedom, security and justice between Member States.
