ABSTRACT

Pharmacist accountability is an essential aspect of pharmaceutical practice, as the pharmacist has a central role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of treatments for patients. This manifests itself on several levels, including professional, legal, ethical and disciplinary liability. It is essential that the pharmacist continuously informs himself of the legislation in force and works closely with patients and doctors to minimize the risks of legal liability. The pharmacist’s legal liability refers to the obligations and responsibilities he has in the exercise of his profession, as well as the legal consequences that may arise as a result of their violation.
