ABSTRACT

This article examines the collective dimension of labor law in Romania, focusing on the legal framework governing collective bargaining, the right to strike, and the role of trade unions in the contemporary labor market. Although Romanian legislation is formally aligned with European and international standards, the practical implementation of these institutions remains deficient - characterized by formalism, fragmentation, and a declining capacity for effective collective representation.
