ABSTRACT

The author of this study aims to make a brief analysis of the legal effects of the nullity, resolution and termination of the legal act, offering a different perspective regarding the legal effect of the retroactivity and of the termination only for the future of the civil legal act in the case of termination.

It is appreciated that the moment of occurrence of the cause of nullity, resolution or termination is the decisive one in assessing the effects of the abolition of a civil legal act, and not the moment of when the court judgment by which the respective sanction was ordered becomes final.
