ABSTRACT
Herbs have been used for thousands of years in different cultures to treat common ailments, and research confirms their effectiveness due to the bioactive compounds they contain. This article analyzes the use and pharmacological properties of four particularly important medicinal plants: Morus alba (white mulberry), Angelica archangelica (angelica), Valeriana officinalis (valerian) and Passiflora incarnata (passion flower). These plants are recognized for their ability to treat a wide range of conditions, including type 2 diabetes, digestive disorders, anxiety, insomnia, and various nerve conditions.
