Abstract

Within the scope of the legal subjects particular to the banking law an essential part and role are played by the credit institutions. Even if their title is recently, most of the components from the analyzed category having been known for enough time within the national legal system, the credit institutions as Romanian legal entities continue to raise questions and controversies. In none of the cases, the attempts to supply answers or only to analyze this category of legal entities cannot circumvent, this distinctiveness being characteristic for them.
