ABSTRACT
Inclusive education in Romania has made significant strides in recent years, aiming to provide equitable educational opportunities for students with disabilities. However, despite these efforts, challenges remain in fully implementing policies that support inclusive education. This article examines the effectiveness of Romania’s legislative measures for students with disabilities, focusing on the successes, gaps, and potential areas for reform. Through a combination of literature review, case studies, and comparative analysis with other European Union (EU) countries, the article provides a comprehensive assessment of the current policy landscape and proposes recommendations to strengthen inclusive education in Romania.
