ABSTRACT

Objective: The active principles specific to Morus alba species identified in cortex are: morin and sanggenon O with antiinflamatory effect and of modulation of GABA-A receptors; triterpenes, acid A and B moruslupenoic, arylbenzofuran, moracin R, C, O, P, mulberrofuran L and Y, kuwanon A, C, E and T, oxyresveratrol and adenosine with antiinflamatory, immunomodulatory, neuroprotective and antioxidative effect.
