ABSTRACT

The psychiatric forensic expertise has a significant role in the justice field, providing data that establishes the responsibility of those who committed acts of a criminal nature. By trying to apply the principles and norms of ethics and those of the law society, it is necessary to elaborate some appropriate measures for the prevention of the anti-social deviance events.

The study in this article is intended to present the contribution that the psychiatric forensic expertise brings to the justice process, by providing some impartial elements on which a person can be held accountable for his deeds. At the same time this examination has the purpose to protect, if necessary through some certain measures, the society from some threats of a person with an impaired mental state.
