ABSTRACT

The enactment of the Vietnamese Law on Commercial Arbitration 2010 represents a pivotal advancement in refining Vietnam's legal framework for commercial dispute resolution. Nevertheless, over 13 years of enforcement, the Vietnamese Law on Commercial Arbitration 2010 has unveiled various deficiencies, limitations, and inconsistencies with current legislation, failing to align with the evolution of modern commercial activities, impeded the effectiveness and the role of arbitration in commercial dispute resolution.
