The last quarter of 2024 buzzed with activity on the international arbitration front, the month of October seeing the General Court of the EU decision upholding the EU Commission's qualification as state aid of the award in Ioan Micula, Viorel Micula, S.C. European Food S.A, S.C. Starmill S.R.L. and S.C. Multipack S.R.L. v. Romania .

SCC (SCC Arbitration Institute) issued its Guide to the use of artificial intelligence in cases administered under the SCC rules with the purpose of promoting best practices in the use of AI in arbitration, as well as their Report on Dispute Resolution in Public Procurement Contracts showcasing the advantages of arbitration.
