News and developments in international arbitration for 2025 started with 1 January 2025 set to be the date of entering into force of a series of new or updated Arbitration Rules such as those of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw Rules 2025 and the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the National Chamber of Commerce of Romania (CICA CCIR) . The Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC ) updated its Rules of Arbitration and Mediation 2021 for 2025 (including an Annex 7 with Supplementary Rules for Corporate Disputes) stepping into its 50-year anniversary, and the revised Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC ) 2025 Arbitration Rules became applicable on the same date.
