Transnational posting - practical aspects of posting workers for transnational service provision

Abstract

Posting of workers in the transnational provision of services is a form of mobility of workers within the EU, aimed to remove any barriers to free movement of persons and services. During posting period, posted workers benefit from same working and employment conditions as workers in the host Member State. The remuneration right is a fundamental right of posted workers, which includes, in addition to the basic minimum wage, the specific posting allowance.
