Despre conceptul de asistent maternal

ABSTRACT

Government Ordinance no. 27/2024 repealed Government Decision no. 679/2003 and brought important improvements to the regulations devoted to the conditions for obtaining the maternal assistant certificate, the attestation procedure and the legal status of maternal assistant. From the multitude of aspects regulated by this Ordinance, the study is devoted to the analysis of the concept of maternal assistant. In this context, following the model of the adoptive person or family certificate, we will propose a definition for the maternal certificate. The Government’s concern for improving the legal regime of the maternity assistant’s attestation is salutary, being in line with the requirements of the best interest of the child.
