ABSTRACT

The present study aims to emphasize some special situations that raise for discussion certain aspects regarding the application of occupation, as a way of acquiring the right of ownership, by discussing some texts of the current Civil Code and by clarifying some situations provided by the law. The discussion, in the matter of occupation, also interferes with certain aspects that consider the application of the natural accession over animals, as it is regulated in the Civil Code.
