ABSTRACT

This article is an analysis of the prohibitions and limitations concerning the declaration of a strike and the participation in a strike, as well as the procedure of declaring a strike.

In terms of structure, this paper consists of three sections. The first section is devoted to the preliminaries relating to the declaration of and the participation in a strike, the categories of people who cannot declare or participate in a strike and the limitations on declaration of and participation in a strike. The second section, entitled "Conditions for declaring a strike" consists of two chapters. The first chapter concerns the conditions needed to be fulfilled when declaring the strike. The second chapter focuses on the decision to declare a strike.
