ABSTRACT

Harassment in the workplace is a violation of dignity in work with serious consequences for the organization working environment. For this reason, harassment in the workplace must be restrain. EU states must review and standardize the definition of harassment, examine and, if necessary, complete the existing legislation in order to have the perfect tools for punishment.

Equal treatment at work and working conditions are key elements in guaranteeing equal opportunities for all.

Combating harassment will be conducted both by legislation and by appropriate prevention, promoting the organizational culture of each employer, with norms and values that oppose its development.
