Summary:

The societies are civil or commercial, in principal, according to their object of activity. It is found out that in the latest time the Romanian legislator has accrued the aria of the activities that can be organized on the basis of a civil society contract, also adding in activities with commercial character.

This accentuates the fact that the civil societies from “the new generation" (regularized by the recent legislation which follows special rules towards Civil Code) capitalize more and more the connections between the civil law and the commercial law. This makes that the object of activity of the civil societies to be much more commercial than in the case of many other commercial classic societies.
