ABSTRACT

The Constitution represents the fundamental law of the state, enshrining the basic principles of social organization. A central place in its content is occupied by democracy, recognized as one of the essential values of contemporary society. Considered the foundation of the democratic regime, the Constitution establishes the institutional framework of the state, guarantees fundamental human rights and freedoms, and possesses supreme legal authority, to which all other normative acts must conform - a defining feature of the rule-of-law state.
