In doctrine, nullity has been defined as the cause of ineffectiveness which implies the deprivation of legal effects of a valid legal act concluded, due to a circumstance subsequent to its conclusion and independent of the will of the parties or of the party to the legal act in question, in the case of unilateral acts.
