ABSTRACT

This paper provides an overview of the use of information technology and artificial intelligence tools in different stages of the arbitral proceedings, such as pre-arbitral stage, constitution of the arbitral tribunal, carrying out the arbitration proceedings, drafting the award by the arbitral tribunal.

While this paper does not aim to comprehensively address all the directions and implications of the use of new technology and particularly artificial intelligence in arbitration, it highlights the important steps taken in the modernisation of the regulatory framework, as well as its implications and specificity for arbitral proceedings.
