Transnational adoption presents a series of legal, social, and ethical challenges that test the traditional boundaries of family law. This article aims to examine the complexity of international adoptions by exploring the legislative connections between various national regulations, the role of international treaties such as the 1993 Hague Convention, and the delicate balance between child protection, family integrity, and national sovereignty.
