ABSTRACT

The Psychopedagogical Training should be a prerequisite for accessing to a teaching career because it develops capabilities/competences that normally can not be acquired by graduating university studies, regardless of their level. If the benefits of attending Psychopedagogical Training courses for a teacher are undeniable, the inconsistency of the legislature bodies to regulate this matter can create premises for misinterpretation, sometimes arbitrary and most likely to restrict the access for a teaching career. These reasons have led us to the need to analyze the applicable legislation in this field, in order to change it or, at least, to come to a common view in relation to its applicability.
